HAPPY “ORDINARY” TIME!

This Sunday we come back to the Sundays of the Year. The readings can be found here. This weekend we reflect upon everyone’s favorite topic: Sin.  We are reminded that division is never a part of God’s plan for humanity.  By choosing to believe the lies of the serpent, Adam and Eve divided themselves against each other and against God.  Satan’s tactic, as Jesus points out, eventually brings destruction on the strong house—the Church.  We are called to humbly acknowledge our sins and allow Christ to unite us into Himself.

With summer upon us, the evenings at SPX are quieter, but there is still lots happening.  Check out the bulletin for all the happenings.

As we are transitioning this summer into new ministry structures, our office team members are taking necessary vacations.  We know we have great things ahead of us.  Throughout all of this, we are working to keep things as “normal” as possible while also making changes.  Please keep us all in prayer as it’s never easy and we all like solid routines.  We also know that pruning causes stronger and better growth.
