Feast of All Souls and the Mass of Remembrance

The Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed(All Souls Day) is November 2nd and this day is when the Catholic Church prays for the souls of the faithful departed.  In doing so, we intercede for those who have died in Christ and are still in need of purification. During the month of November, we will have a Wall of Remembrance in honor of all our loved ones who have passed on.  Feel free to bring a picture of your loved one to place on the board or you may purchase a candle from the office for $10 to be placed there in your loved one’s honor.  You may also bring in a candle you have purchased in years passed.

The Mass of Remembrance will be Saturday, November 21st at 9am with coffee and donuts reception to follow.  This mass is offered for those parishioners of St. Pius X who have died in the past year.  We will post names of all who had a funeral at St. Pius X on a banner and on candles in the sanctuary for the month of November.

Holy Hands Fall Cleanup will be Sunday, November 15.  If you are in need of leaf removal or similar assistance or would like to volunteer, please contact the Parish Office or use the QR code in the bulletin. You can also go to this link.

We have received several volunteers but we are still in need of an adult to oversee childcare once a month during our Family Program!  Contact Hannah Garstecki or This email address is being protected from spambots. Thank you St. Pius X! Your generous donations are appreciated and make a difference. Our next collection will be Saturday, October 10. Check out  the complete 2026 schedule here.

The Knights of Columbus will hold their can and bottle drive on the second Saturday of the month, March through December between 9 am and 11 am. You can drop off your bags and boxes of cans and bottles to the Knights in the parking lot by the entrance to the parish center. All money raised goes towards furthering the Pro-Life cause. Thank you for your continued support!

We participate in the Salvation Army Canteen breakfast casserole program every other month. Please pick up a pan(s) to prepare and freeze breakfast casseroles that later will be used to feed homeless clients.  Just one dozen eggs makes three casseroles or 20 meals! Thank You! The Salvation Army is so appreciative of the support St. Pius Parish provides to their canteen breakfast program.  During our six collections in 2025, we donated 1,039 casseroles and 1,040 boxes of cereal! These donations provided many meals for our hungry neighbors.  We have great volunteers who help rescue food used for the meals, work serving on the canteen or doing quantity casserole baking at the Salvation Army kitchen. Thank you to all of the parishioners for their help and donations in 2025.

Please make sure freezer door is closed.
